Your screenshots stay yours
Capture, stitching, annotation, mosaic, watermarking, text extraction and export all run inside your browser. The extension makes no requests to any server of ours — there is no account to create and no code that phones home.
Text read from the page, not guessed
Because it runs in the page, ShotPages can read the real DOM. Copying a paragraph is exact rather than OCR-guessed, and sensitive-data redaction finds emails, phone numbers, card numbers and keys with full precision.
Full-page captures that line up
Scrolling and stitching is driven by the page's real layout, so long pages do not drift, repeat, or lose their sticky headers — the classic failure of pixel-guessing stitchers.

Questions
The things people ask before buying.
Do my screenshots get uploaded anywhere?
No. Capture, stitching, annotation, mosaic, watermarking, text extraction and export all run inside your browser, and the extension makes no requests to our servers. The one exception is a feature you switch on yourself: if you enter your own upload endpoint in Settings, exported images go to that endpoint under your account — we never receive them.
What does the license check actually send?
When the extension starts, it sends your email address and license key to our licensing endpoint, and receives back a single answer: valid or not valid. That is the entire exchange. No screenshot, no page content, and no browsing history is ever part of it.
If the network is unavailable, the extension falls back to the free feature set rather than assuming you are a paying customer.
How do I activate Pro?
Two ways, and both take a moment. Open the activation page on this
site and enter your purchase email plus your license key — or paste the same two values into
Settings inside the extension. The license key looks like SP-PRO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
What happens if I cancel, or my card fails?
The subscription simply lapses. The extension goes back to the free feature set on its next check — nothing is deleted, and your history and settings stay exactly where they are. Renewing later unlocks Pro again with the same key.
Can I use one license on several computers?
Yes — a license is tied to your email address rather than to a single machine, so you can activate it on the computers you work on. Keep the key somewhere private: anyone who has it can activate with it.
How do refunds work?
Paddle processes payments and handles refunds as merchant of record. Write to support@shotpages.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will arrange it. See the terms for the full wording.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and other Chromium browsers including Microsoft Edge, plus Firefox. The same features are available in all of them — there is no browser that quietly gets less.
